Nancy Lynn Schefdore

Nancy Lynn Schefdore, 85, of Gillett, Wisconsin, died peacefully at 12:07 p.m. early Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2026, at Care Partners Assisted Living, Oconto, Wisconsin, with family by her side.

She was born June 18, 1940, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to  Charles Hoover Blum and Mildred Ann (Bankow) Blum. Nancy grew up in Illinois and moved to Wisconsin in 1998.  There she worked with her sister and brother-in-law at Vorpahl's Business Services.  Nancy also was employed by Cruisers Yachts until retirement in 2015.  She married Anson Schefdore in 2000.

Her family includes sons and a daughter-In-law, Jerry of Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin, and Doug and Kim of Cambridge, Illinois; grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Jeremy, Tasha, Tyra, Porter and Savannah; sister, Shirley Vorpahl of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin; nephews, Jeff and Steve and nieces, Valerie and Gina.

Preceding Nancy in death were her parents; sons, Tim and Mark; sister, Carol; brother, Roy and brother-in-law, Leslie "Butch" Vorpahl. 

Private family services will be held with interment in Illinois.
