Mrs. Doris M. Reindl, 95, of Freedom, Wisconsin, died peacefully Sunday evening, May 25, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
The former Doris Marie Becker was born January 15, 1930, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Lawrence and Gladys (Ording) Becker. She attended St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. Doris took great pride in being a housekeeper and did so for various families in the area. Doris married Donald Edward Reindl April 25, 1953. The couple resided at rural Freedom where they raised their son, Michael. They were married for over 51 years until Don preceded Doris in death July 13, 2004. Shortly after Don died, she moved into Freedom which made her very happy being close to all that she needed, especially her Church.
Doris loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ dearly and being of member of her beloved, St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Freedom. She cherished time spent with family. Doris enjoyed watching television, visiting and going out to eat. Helping and being kind to others was top on her list.
Family meant the world to Doris. They include her son, Michael Reindl of Appleton; her sister, Barbara Juckem and her husband, Robert Jakubiak of Sheboygan; numerous niece and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bernard Becker, Roger Becker and James Becker and sisters, Helen (Russell) Jacobs, Charlotte (Robert) Ferry, Carolyn Hall and Marian (Jerry) Huntley.
A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church Freedom. The Rev. Fr. Robert Chinnapan will officiate. Interment will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
